Sugar Mediaz - Good Karma X'mas with 150 Kids at Street School!
Sugar Mediaz had a magical X'mas this year with more than 150 kids at
Prayas Street School with a SURPRISE X'mas party! Darrpan Mehta, Director
of Sugar Mediaz and our guiding force, played Santa Claus to the awe struck
kids and had them eating out of his hands! There was fun and frolic, singing
and dance and lots of fun as Santa Claus distributed gifts and chocolates to the
children and teachers at Prayas Street School.
The best way to celebrate festivals, we always believe, is by sharing happiness with those who are not as privileged as us and bringing a smile on their faces.
At Sugar Mediaz, our simple fund of life is to work hard and celebrate life by continuously doing our little bit for the society.
Mr. Raut, who handles administration at Prayas said,"My children have never ever been visited by Santa Claus and this was their first interaction with Santa. This is indeed one of the happiest moments for me to see my kids being loved this way."
Sugar Mediaz is proud to wrap up 2016 with a beautiful social initiative of spreading X'mas joy for under privileged Kids. The year started with a social project to Educate street kids with the 'Buy a Diary - Send a Child to School Project. We managed to collect Rs 1,25,000/- from generous volunteers and could admit 8 street kids to private school.
In November 2016, we completed another social initiative of helping with the education of Indore Central Jail prisoners by collecting Stationery Books, English and Hindi Novels and musical instruments. We personally went and handed over the collected items to the Superintendent of Indore Central Jail in November 2016.

School Education for Street Children – January – June 2016
We embarked upon a unique project to facilitate Private school education for Street Children attached with Prayaas Charitable Trust. The Children were encouraged to paint and selected paintings were converted into Diary covers and printed by Sugar Mediaz. The back cover of these Diaries also had the picture of the child artist. These Diaries with cover pages painted by these children were sold to raise funds for their education.
We managed to raise at total of Rs 1,25,000/- from this drive, thanks to generous purchases of Diaries by some good souls and this led to admission of 8 children to Private school!
