Sugar Mediaz - Good Karma X'mas with 150 Kids at Street School!

Sugar Mediaz had a magical X'mas this year with more than 150 kids at
Prayas Street School with a SURPRISE X'mas party! Darrpan Mehta, Director
of Sugar Mediaz and our guiding force, played Santa Claus to the awe struck
kids and had them eating out of his hands! There was fun and frolic, singing
and dance and lots of fun as Santa Claus distributed gifts and chocolates to the
children and teachers at Prayas Street School.

The best way to celebrate festivals, we always believe, is by sharing happiness with those who are not as privileged as us and bringing a smile on their faces.

At Sugar Mediaz, our simple fund of life is to work hard and celebrate life by continuously doing our little bit for the society.

Mr. Raut, who handles administration at Prayas said,"My children have never ever been visited by Santa Claus and this was their first interaction with Santa. This is indeed one of the happiest moments for me to see my kids being loved this way."

School Education for Street Children – January – June 2016

We embarked upon a unique project to facilitate Private school education for Street Children attached with Prayaas Charitable Trust. The Children were encouraged to paint and selected paintings were converted into Diary covers and printed by Sugar Mediaz. The back cover of these Diaries also had the picture of the child artist. These Diaries with cover pages painted by these children were sold to raise funds for their education.

We managed to raise at total of Rs 1,25,000/- from this drive, thanks to generous purchases of Diaries by some good souls and this led to admission of 8 children to Private school!

The entire cost of printing and producing these Diaries were borne by Sugar Mediaz and the entire proceeds from the sale of these Diaries were donated to Prayas Charitable Trust. A handsome amount of Rs 1,25,000/- was collected and it helped get 08 Street children get into Private School!

Food Grain Donation drive – Diwali 2015

Diwali is the time when most companies bend over their back to please their clients and associates with expensive gifts, mostly Chocolates or Mithai / Sweets. Sugar Mediaz decided to gift it’s network of clients, friends, partners and associates, something very special.

The gift of GOOD KARMA - Food Grain Donation packets as Diwali Gifts

More than 300 Paper bags containing 4 packets of Grains including Wheat Flour, Sugar, Rice and Pulses were gifted to people with a request to pass on these Food grain bags to less privileged people around them who probably needed the food grains more than them.
Sugar Jyot also visited a few street schools and distributed these Food grain bags to children there.
This unique CORPORATE GIFTING initiative got quite an attention and inspired many others to re look at their Diwali gifting policies 🙂
